November 2025 Investment Results and Asset Growth

The chart below illustrates the changes in my total assets over time. The rightmost point represents my assets at the end of November 2025, which totaled 54.62 million yen (approximately $0.35 million).

The month-over-month change in assets based on Japanese yen was +0.56%.

My December2025 Asset Allocation (Portfolio Breakdown)

As of December1, my portfolio consists of the following asset classes:

Japanese Stocks
Margin Trading (Japanese Stocks)
U.S. Stocks (BRK-B)
U.S. ETFs (HDV, SPYD, VYM)
Mutual Funds (S&P 500, ACWI)

In November, I made the following purchases:

S&P 500–linked investment trust: 50,000 yen
ACWI-linked investment trust: 50,000 yen
Yamada Holdings Co., Ltd. (9831.T): 300 shares (spot buy)
Toyota Motor Corporation (7203): 800 shares (converted from margin to cash holdings)
- Purchased in anticipation of improved profits from future yen depreciation and stronger shareholder returns.

The following stocks were sold:

STUDIO ALICE (2305): 200 shares
- There doesn’t seem to be any positive news that would drive the stock price up for the time being.
  Considering the dividends received so far, the overall result is roughly break-even.
Welcia Holdings Co., Ltd. (3141): 100 shares
- The stock rose more than 50% within a year, which was an excellent performance.
- It will be dissolved due to a merger with Tsuruha HD (3391).
  Although I could have kept holding the shares through the stock swap, I decided to sell for now because the valuation became difficult.
Digital Garage (4819): 100 shares
- Sales and profits have been unstable, and the stock price has not shown a steady upward trend.
- Although a profit was made, the performance was not satisfactory.
Synchro Food (3963): 3,600 shares
- Business performance and stock price remain lackluster.
- I will continue to hold some shares, but plan to reduce my position depending on future conditions.

My total assets amount to 54,623,134 yen. Since the leveraged (margin) position in Toyota Motor was closed through cash settlement, my current holdings consist only of cash and physical (non-margin) stocks.

Lastly

My cash position is currently a bit larger than usual — though more than 96.6% of my assets are still allocated to risk assets.

Next month, I plan to adjust my positions in preparation for the coming year. This is because, in Japan, there is an ongoing movement to make use of NISA, a tax-exempt investment account for individuals. Naturally, I also invest through NISA, and purchases for the 2026 allocation will begin on Monday, December 29.

In order to secure the cash needed to make purchases within that NISA allocation, I expect to make some adjustments to my existing positions.
