June 2025 Result

The chart below shows the change in my assets. The rightmost point indicates my assets at the end of June 2025, which totaled 49.63 million yen (approximately $0.342 million).

The month-over-month change in assets was +3.86%.

My asset allocation

Starting this time, I will also share the changes in my portfolio. For the first time, I will begin by explaining the items in the table below.

ItemMeaningRemarks
SymbolStock ticker symbolIn Japan, four-digit numbers are used. Recently listed companies are assigned four-digit numbers combined with letters.
StockBrandCompany nameThis table also includes assets such as cash. Furthermore, the table summarizes products such as investment trusts in single-line items.
ShareThe number of shares held does not include NISA accounts (described later)
NISANumber of shares held in NISA accountA NISA account is a tax-free account. With a regular account, approximately 20% tax is levied on profits, but no tax is levied on securities held in a NISA account.
PriceLatest stock priceExpressed in Japanese yen
DPSDividend Per ShareExpressed in Japanese yen
MarketCapMarket capitalization of each stockExpressed in Japanese yen
%MCMarket capitalization ratio of each issue relative to total asset valuation
AnnualDiviAnnual dividend incomeExpressed in Japanese yen

The last rows of MarketCap and AnnualDivi show the total of all figures. This is the sum of “Cash Equities” and “Cash.” In other words, the summary table above does not include “gains or losses on margin trading.” Currently, there is an unrealized loss of “-493,895 yen” on margin trading, so total assets are less than 50 million yen. The reason for this aggregation method is that margin trading involves calculations such as interest and fees, as well as dividend payments, making it difficult to include these in the table. Therefore, the information summarized in the Excel table does not include margin trading. However, we have included dividends in the “Cash” row and made efforts to consider interest and other factors that may affect unrealized losses from margin trading.

The Nikkei 225 rose significantly at the end of the month.

The Nikkei 225 rose sharply in the last week of June. In Japan, there may be expectations for the House of Councillors election to be held on July 20, 2025. In addition, President Trump's negative comments on stock prices seem to be gradually subsiding.

Many companies announced their final financial results in June. With the release of earnings forecasts for next year, investor sentiment may have changed. The webmaster believes that the earnings of each company are not in danger and expects them to continue to rise gradually in the future.

Finally

This is the first time I have disclosed my stock portfolio. In the future, I would like to write articles about my portfolio little by little. To increase the credibility of my portfolio, I thought it would be beneficial to post screenshots of the securities companies' websites. However, I use three securities companies and need to use Excel to consolidate the information I have from each company. Please understand that I will continue to introduce my portfolio in this manner for the time being.
